JESUS makes many references to bread in the Bible, and does in fact relate HIMSELF to bread: AND JESUS SAID TO THEM, I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE: HE THAT COMES TO ME SHALL NEVER HUNGER; AND HE THAT BELIEVES IN ME SHALL NEVER THIRST. John 6:3 For many us, baking bread has a magical quality. To feel it as you shape the dough, to see it as it rises, to smell it as it ferments and bakes, and to enjoy the taste the freshly baked bread, fills you with wonder, and truly is a gift from GOD.
